Welcome to Westwood Memorial Stables on the Web! WMS has been around in some form or other since 1991 when I joined Model Horses Unlimited and started to take my model horse collecting a little more seriously. Some of my friends have asked -"why collect model horses?". Well, I've loved horses since I was little and not having the resources or inclination to have a real horse of my own I decided that collecting model horses the way forward. After all model horses don't need feeding or mucking out or have vet's bills to pay...

Nowadays there are so many things you can do with your humble model horse. You can, of course, collect them. There are any number of makers and you can decide if you wish to collect different makes, or breeeds or colours or even whatever you like the look of!

I like to show my models, in postal, photo and live shows. It is an opportunity to show your models against those of other people, win prizes and awards, and socialise with other like-minded folks.
