Westwood Memorial Stables - Stud listing: breeding information

1. All breedings by WMS are free. Breeding details will be sent in an email (and an attachment if you would like a certificate) or by post if you supply a SSAE.

For your breeding you will get a breeding certificate, a picture of the sire/dam for breeding stock classes and your records and a 4-5 generation pedigree (possibly more).

2. All foals must be 4 years younger than sire and 4 years younger than dam. Stallions are availiable between the dates stated, mare are only availiable on the years stated. If you're not sure please ask.

3. I would like the following details of the intended foal and the other parent if they are not one of mine - name, sex, year foaled, breed (or cross), colour, make or mold and real owner. I would also like the pedigree of the parent as far back as you can manage (at least 5 generations where possible). I really would appreciate a photo of the foal where possible (digital or otherwise, an attachment in an email is fine) to go with their sire/dam files and for breeding stock classes. Credit will always be given to you and the picture will not be used anywhere else without your express permission.

4. Please keep colour genetics in mind. Make sure at least one of the parents is the same color/pattern as the foal. There are excellent resources on the web and equine colour genetics is a facinating way to spend an idle afternoon. :) If you have any doubt or feel that a certain cross would produce a colour you desire please ask. Alternatively you can leave the colour of your foal up to me.
